Why can't I f----ing sleep?

I can't sleep today. I've tried to sleep but it's just not happening. I have chronic insomnia but haven't found a doctor, since I moved and therefore I don't have any ambien at the moment. I do have benedryl but it makes me sleep for too long.

My eyes are watery but my brain is saying create, do, listen, make... be awake... who needs to sleep for eight to twelve hours.

So I've started a batch of split pea soup, since we bought some ham for soup the other day. It smells so good.

I'm making a set of icons based on severe boredom from random screencaps... It's been fun.

Boo is currently hunting his new catnip laced squeaking mouse. He's so very adorable. Ian took an adorable picture of him that I'll have to upload and share...

Maybe I'll try some hot cocoa with milk.

I hope you find a good doctor soon so you can get the meds that you need to help you! Or eventually find good alternates that help - you never know if there's something out there. I can't imagine that it's a whole lot of fun trying things when all you want is sleep though!

Thanks... it would be nice to sleep when I want to. Sadly since it's my anxiety disorder playing with the manic period... the only thing that works is something to calm me down. I really hate my brain chemistry sometimes.
