I am such a spoiled lucky Dani. After months without a toaster (our last toaster didn't make the move in May since food poisoning caused us to make one less trip) Ian bought me a toaster, cream cheese and bagels.
Mmm toasted cinnamon bagel with cream cheese. :-)
Spending most of my time upstairs since my back is still killing me on my left side near my hip, it hurts when I exhale and bending is an adventure in pain. Been stretching lightly when the ibprofen is working... but will be seeing a doctor if it continues as it can be a symptom of a blood clot which my pills can cause. I do keep moving my legs the way I was told to by doctors to keep my chances of a blood clot forming in my leg nice and low... but better safe and told it's just a strained muscle than a blood clot in my lungs, heart, or brain....
Boo also known as Mushi or my youngest fur child has been most upset since the spot that hurts is the spot where he loves to lay on his Mommy for hours. He can't lay on me and his Papa's back is just too firm.
Waiting for UPS to deliver our computer chairs...which aren't exactly like my old one but better than the dining chairs we're currently using.
Then I'm going to start making a broccoli lemon and Parmesan soup. It's a new recipe, looks good, hope it tastes good.
Ian's work week starts up today... sighs. I hate his work week with his insane school schedule and the endless homework (he's studying to be an electrical engineer) I don't get to see him much.
Ah well such is life...

Date: 2013-10-16 08:52 pm (UTC)Also yay for new chairs :)
I used a kitchen chair for the computer for some time and before I got my new swivel chair for the computer I occasionally would switch since the old one was fairly broken and at times even more uncomfortable than a normal one!
*hugs* I hope you don't feel too alone this week.
Also, did you get my mails about beta reading? If you haven't read them yet, they might be something to keep you distracted from the pain/being alone. (Even without actually fixing them up ;))
I really feel like I'm pestering you with things, but I guess they just piled up in your absence and are just popping up now ;)

Date: 2013-10-17 10:33 am (UTC)*hugs* this week might not be so bad as he doesn't have tests in all four classes to prepare for.
I got the mails, just have to read them and edit them. :-)
You're not pestering me at all.... it gives me things to do...
Besides finish icons for battles, post them and so on and so forth. :-)

Date: 2013-10-18 07:10 pm (UTC)Well I've got a question about doctorwho20in20... today the last person that signed up submitted a set and I'm thinking of closing the round early - unless you want to try and finish a set this weekend. I'm going to make a similiar post at the community, but figured I'd ask you here as well :)
I'm kind of avoiding this things a bit currently. At least when it comes to dailyicons. Maybe it's just not the right prompts for me currently

Date: 2013-10-22 04:02 pm (UTC)My muse had a lot of time to build up steam and ideas and had no way to focus them.
I wish I could remember the long fanfiction idea I come up with in the bath.... it covered some of my pet peeves from a fic I was enjoying until a certain point where it then villainized River... Who even though the idea of her with the doctor makes me uncomfortable I like enough that I don't want her to be the oh my god bad person even in and Eleven Doctor and Rose fic....
Sadly it was lost with the bubbles and I can't remember the idea. ^_^

Date: 2013-12-15 10:51 am (UTC)I had to get used to River/Doctor as well. Not necessarily because I don't like it (I love the dynamics), but because it seemed so absolute when it comes to canon and I really am a multi-shipper (especially when it comes to the long lived Doctor!)
I think I once had a little ficlet about River and Jack finding all kinds of clothes in the Doctors closet that he kept to remember people by :D
(Did I send that as part of the beta ficlets?)
Somehow I think that River and Jack would be really scary together. The Doctor better run now ;)
