Aw, man, I'm really sorry to hear that. Does relaxing music help, maybe? You know, those soothing rainforest sounds for example? They always help me. Do you drink coffee or anything that contains caffeine? Avoid it. And what about exercise? When I'm hit with a bout of insomnia I do some extra exercise, rev it up to 90 mins a day. It does help a lot.
I drink very little coffee, mostly in the mornings.... Might try the exercise, I need to do that for my health goals anyways. What I do remember from the last time when I saw a doctor for my chronic insomnia is that it's not my caffeine intake and has more to do with either my anxiety or my mania coming out to play. However I'll try exhausting the mind with activity and if that doesn't work I'll wean myself off of my caffeine drinks along with going back to the doctor for a few doses of the sleeping pill they gave me last time.
Me too, I miss being able to sleep through the night. ^_^
