It feels simultaneously longer and not that long at all since we've become friends. And I have no problems with your babbling and your silences - I'm the very same on that account. There are the times when I'm quiet and then there are those when I just keep talking about everything and nothing :)
And now that you're talking about chocolate week. I have to think when my next one comes up. It always surprises me because it feels like no time at all since the last one.
Also, yay for working on refreshing your language skills. I should probably do that as well with my Italian and Swedish. I stopped when the Italian course was halted for the second semester due to the pandemic and had the best intentions... (and Swedish stopped when not enough people signed up for the next one even before that). And I agree that verb conjugations would be a good indicator about which one to use in most cases (The only other case I can think of is when it's referring to a previously listed noun which would obviously be in plural or singular). That seems like a design flaw. I wish you good luck with that! Also, while I'm not really good an expert on grammar, if you have questions, feel free to ask :)
