I'm as safe as can be and can't wait for it to be over.
I think I'm also on the more dramatic side. I remember knowing when my mother typically came home from work and when she was late (because she stopped for groceries or whatever) and I didn't know about it, I started imaging all kinds of things that could go wrong. So far, there had always been a good reason that didn't involve danger at all.
I'm trying to think of things to suggest to get your mind off of what's coming, but all I can think of is fanfiction and putting a fictional character through it (with the obligatory comfort from another one - or at least what counts as comfort from them)
