dani_meowsHad a great time with my best friend... sadly she didn't like is this a zombie but she did love Chi's sweet home so I still had anime I like to share.
The day after she left we went to Bradenton and the old apartment and cleaned and packed up some stuff. We also made lasagna as a parting gift to Ian's coworkers. Accepted hugs and agreed with the two grandma's that we will miss them. And we will Ian's coworkers were awesome, treated us both like we were their grandchildren. Well in Mary's case her eldest grandson is three years older than us.
Then we drove home, we weren't feeling to good so we didn't make the second trip but slept. Woke up ate some food and then it happened.
I got violently terribly awfully sick. Ian wins 80 billion spouse points for cleaning up the sick on the bed from one of the times I threw up...
Then before he could run to the store a second time (he'd picked up some meds and a bottle of sprite from the drugstore.) He joined me in the land of throwing up.
We'd been supposed to meet mom for dinner since she took the I-4 corridor from Orlando back home from Orlando but we canceled. Sort of. Since Mum was passing our house minus about ten minutes, we asked her if she'd drop of some gatorade, saltines, and soda.
She did we were quite warm.
So we either had a stomach flu at the same time or food poisoning. Ian got better faster than me and got our apartment cleaned up while I drank gatorade and walked the thin line between getting to stay home and going to the ER.
Now we're mostly better, eating solid foods and everything but really behind on things we needed to get done.
Tomorrow's going to be fun because we went to the asian market that's nearby and there were so many things we've wanted to try but couldn't find and the prices of their produce were much cheaper... so we'll be making some mochi with red bean paste and a bunch of new japanese dishes we've wanted to make but couldn't find all the ingredients for.
Cooking new foods! It'll be fun.
We'll also go out and see if we can find a new computer chair as the table chairs are not comfy!
