Also ouch about the motherboard. I remember when I suspected that mine was broken (the computer was still working, but horrendously slow... my grandmother has it now) and it ended up being cheaper for me to just buy a new laptop.

Whenever everything's fixed just let me know and I'll extend all of your dailyicons claims (unless you want to replace some)
