I got a few hour nap yesterday and then went to bed early but now I'm wide awake at 4 am. *Sighs*

On the plus side, we have to grab coffee this morning so this gives me time to decide what type of coffee I want. It doesn't have to be milk free because I bought lactose tablets so the world is my oyster. Do I want frozen more dessert coffee or a hot latte?
Or a cold brew with cold foam? Maybe some chocolate? So many choices.

I did my Duolingo German lessons all week but I've been struggling with it a bit. I love it for vocabulary especially the matching games and the way it repeats old things you learned lessons ago but grammar wise it needs something.

I don't know when to use Den, Um vs Am, Bis and Von... I'll have to try and find my textbook or essential German grammar book. I get them right sometimes but I don't know why and I hate guessing.

Duolingo is great but also not great. I think I need to learn the old-fashioned way, with verb endings and all that stuff. So that lack of explanation/just guessing isn't great for me either. Good luck!

Enjoy your coffee, whatever kind you choose!

If only sleep worked like we want it to! I hope whatever you chose was good.

Grammar can really suck. I wish I could help, but I'd probably have to guess why they're right as well. When it comes to German, my last grammar class was at least 20 years ago and I'm not sure if we really did grammar in the last couple of years or primarily literature and essay writing and such. I also really struggled with it when it came to my attempts to learn Italian and Swedish... I probably should sit down and get back into those languages.

I took German classes and I had a *really* hard time with the grammar and having to memorize all those pronouns and cases. I'm on DuoLingo from time to time (French and Spanish currently), and it's helping with vocabulary but I don't use it nearly enough.

I hope you enjoyed your coffee whichever one you chose!

I need to check out Duolingo because I've heard good things about it.
