Fuck you chronic insomnia

Four hours of sleep and I'm wide awake definitely taking two benadryl tomorrow.

I just want eight glorious hours of sleep.

I wish I could give you some of my ability to fall back asleep. Although most of the time it's dozing. Like stretching waking up at 6:30 to sleeping until 9:30 - even with a craftsman on the same floor doing some tiling in the bathroom. Okay, tiling isn't that loud, but still. I had even left the bed to get something to drink in case I get thirsty (since I have to get dressed to leave my room now that the guy is here)

*hugs* I wish I knew what could help. I typically try reading or "writing" fics in my head. Although more often than not those feature me in a mary sue role and will therefore never see the light of day. And if I have trouble sleeping at night, I walk up and down my room or around my flat to get some excess energy out (aka my mind requires me to move - either to the music I'm listening to on my mp3 player or to act out those stories)

Unfortunatly, both of these things are at risk to take up a long time...

Aw, man, I'm really sorry to hear that. Does relaxing music help, maybe? You know, those soothing rainforest sounds for example? They always help me. Do you drink coffee or anything that contains caffeine? Avoid it. And what about exercise? When I'm hit with a bout of insomnia I do some extra exercise, rev it up to 90 mins a day. It does help a lot.

I hope you'll get your eight hours of sleep soon!

Awww. *hugs*
Yeah, I always say I could sleep for the American Olympic sleeping team.
I'm sorry you're having such a hard time right now. :(
