I got four hours of sleep before Ian woke me up with a text message. Couldn't fall asleep again...

At least my muse is happily creating things. I might even try to write... and see if my writing muse is also feeling creative.

I've written out the shopping list for Ian to go the market in the morning. If I'm still wide awake and unable to sleep, I'll go too.

I might even buy a red bean bun and a pork bun... they have a small bakery and sometimes have yummy treats. I'm also fond of the taro bun. It's a pretty nifty Asian market. I wish they didn't have cooked ducks with the head still attached hanging from a place in a glass case... but you can't have everything.

They sell produce for cheaper which means I can enjoy veggie stirfry's with fresh veggies without breaking the bank. At our regular grocery it costs 7.00 for a head of nappa cabbage and way to much for bok choy... which is my favorite leafy green.

The fur children are driving me crazy with their behaviors...

Anyone know why a 14 year old cat will suddenly start going poo on a carpet even when the box is clean? He was at the vet last month for a real bad flea problem and because I was concerned about his emotions, since Py died. He's seemed a little lost even though he still has the little guy (turning 3 this year), and wasn't eating much. Which worries me because Py was working herself towards starvation before we had to put her down. The vet found nothing wrong and said that depression after the loss of cat they were close too. Now he's pooing on the carpet and scratching the hell out of it.

Mushi has been getting bitey... but after a few reminders that's been stopped. He's also upset because we've been shutting the doors upstairs where we have the window open... to lure in the cooler weather so we don't have to run the ac. He's upset he can't be in the room... But he's an escape artist and I don't want him getting outside to get lost, hit by a car, or adopted by someone else.
