Yay for a vacation day, so early in the year. I don't think Ian gets one for a bit. I've got to put away my Christmas stuff soon but I have to order some better ornament containers first.

I don't even want to think about putting my craft stuff in order. I have a ton of stickers and washi tape and I got more for Christmas.

I ignored the part about getting it all done as fast as possible because if I tried to organize the whole house rapidly I'd burn out and nothing would get done.

For me, I can rewatch old things relatively easy. I know that the writing is good and consistent. That the storylines end in a nice way. I know which episodes to watch and which ones I should just skip because I don't like them. I think the only new thing I watched last year was Bridgerton which was a fantastic show. But I think with how badly Once Upon A Time got (I gave away my dvds and didn't finish collecting them) and how awful the ending for the 100 was it didn't even make sense that the main character would do such a thing...

I have a hard time trusting that the shows will actually deliver a satisfying ending and a good plot. I think part of it has to do with fandom being so vocal on twitter and getting writers attention that they want to please or displease the vocal majority rather than how it was in ye olden days when they didn't know how an audience would react until after it had all been filmed. I think that's why Bridgerton was good since it was filmed all in one go.

Gosh this makes me feel like such a fandom old. Then again I was about 14 or so when I first discovered internet fandom ooh such a long time ago. Ah crap I am old. But I really do think it was better back when the first rule of fandom was never engage with the creators/actors about your pairings/headcanons etc.

Lately I only seem to read fanfiction. I need to get into reading actual books again. I bought Ian Good Omens for Christmas so maybe I'll read that or listen to the audiobook that way I can watch the series. And see red head David Tennant.

I doubt my replies ever make much sense. I just babble all the time.
