Dreams can sometimes be the weirdest things. I've had pretty interesting dreams that startled me awake and then I'm wondering if that was a (good) dream or if that was a nightmare.

Typically those would make good stories if only I had dreamed more of the story...

I think the worst is waking to them in the middle of the night and then you're unable to fall back asleep as your thoughts inardvently return to that dream even if you try to think of something else.
